Standard & Poor’s lowered the rating outlook of the Chinese – Banker

Standard & amp; Poor’s lowered the rating outlook of China
Republic of China from “neutral” to “negative.”

The reason for this decision were
slow progress in “rebalancing” of the second world economy. Rating for China
 AA- been confirmed y.

“We have revised outlook
(Chinese rating – ed. Ed.), Which reflects our expectations that
Economic and financial risks to the credibility of the Chinese government gradually
growing. This reflects our belief that within the next five years
China will prove moderate progress in balancing the economy and the slowdown
growth in credit “- said in a statement of reasons for its decision, analysts Standard
 & Amp; Poor’s.

Experts S & amp; P believe that
Over the next three years, the Chinese economy will maintain a growth rate
a level no lower than 6%. They are worried by this amount of leverage
both the government and the corporate sector. “In our opinion
investment rate may be significantly above the levels that we consider fit
to maintain in the long term 30-35% of GDP “- reads the S & amp; P.

The key issue from the point of
view of the agency is the future of political reforms in the PRC to increase “transparency”
strengthening the rule of law and address the issue of state-owned behemoths
industrial, which does not bear the consequences of the market (ie. bankruptcy
or restructuring) of investment failure, resulting in an erroneous reallocation
 capital on a massive scale.

Our negative outlook is partly motivated by our
opinion that the pace and scope of reforms of state-owned enterprises may be
 insufficient
to weaken the risks associated with the growth model
economic driven by credit “- warns Standard & amp; Poor’s.

For the last five years the rate of growth
Chinese economy has been steadily decreasing. According to the official – though often
questioned – data in 2015 China’s GDP grew in real terms by 6.9%, which was
the lowest score in 25 years. Back in 2010, Chinese GDP grew at a rate of
10.2%. The Chinese economy is characterized by a very high rate of investment
(Almost 45% of GDP) and a high savings rate (47% of GDP), which
the other side is a massive credit expansion organized by the mostly state
 banks.

The reduction in rating outlook
China will automatically result in cutting rating outlook of Hong Kong (AAA) of
 neutral to negative.

WIG20 head to head with the DAX-I. Interestingly Islands – Money.pl

The situation on the stock markets still control selling shares, although the afternoon WIG20 managed to pare some losses. The competition stands out the British stock market, which welcomed should adopt the latest macro data.

Growth in the UK was in the fourth quarter of 2015 years of 2.1 per cent. This is a positive surprise, considering the expectations of analysts talking about GDP growth of 1.9 percent. After the publication of a slight recovery can be seen on the British stock market, which has lost less than 0.5 percent. It is in the face of the general weakness of demand one of the best results in Europe.

For comparison, the French CAC40, the Spanish IBEX and Italian FTSE MIB lose more than 1 percent. Our blue chips behave like most German companies that are in the red of about 0.7 percent.

The topic did not bring anything Eurostat data on inflation in the euro zone. In line with expectations and previous reading, the index took a negative value of 0.1 percent.

In the morning WIG20 not much has changed. Still before the larger decline in trading index arms Asseco, gaining more than 2 percent. PGNiG, BZ WBK and Tauron are much weaker. The greatest burden is Pekao. The bank’s shares 2.3 percent cheaper. Erasing a large part of the increases in earned yesterday.

Looking more broadly at the Warsaw Stock Exchange noteworthy quotations Medicalgorithmics. More than 20 per cent. the increase can not boast of any other company from the Stock Exchange. It’s a reaction to the information about taking control of the US company Medi-Lynx Cardiac Monitoring. More on this subject we wrote HERE.

Poor opening day on European bourses

Author: Damian Słomski

From the revaluation of shares in the biggest companies started Thursday’s session on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In the worst mood are also investors from other European bourses.

The WIG20 index is moving away from 2000 points. After 30 minutes of trading exchange rate fluctuates around 1985 points, a decrease of 0.5 percent.

The decrease in quotations, among others thanks profit taking on shares of Pekao, which yesterday stood out among the blue chips. More than 2 percent. loses too PKN Orlen, which coincided with a more pronounced drop for crude oil on the global markets.

In this harsh environment characterized by securities Asseco Poland, which gain in value of nearly 2.5 percent. Price is approaching to 60 zł, which already is the best result of information the group since July last year. Just behind the Asseco group Orange (+1.7 percent.). In this case, the struggle for piercing the psychological barrier of 7 zł per share.

The negative balance of domestic blue chips is not unusual when you look at what is happening in Europe. From the morning the most important indexes depreciating from 0.5 to 1 percent.

slowly flow down the first macro data. Inflation in France a month-to-month jumped more strongly than expected (read: 0.7 percent .; forecast 0.5 per cent.), Which does not change the fact that in a year where we have to deal with deflation (-0.1 percent . by HICP). It’s still very little compared to Spain, where preliminary data say about the price drop of 1 percent.

WIG20 in 2 months 20 percent. positive. What’s next?

Author: Damian Słomski

It may be difficult to repeat the great result of Wednesday’s session on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Indolent course of trade in Asia and falling oil prices may inhibit the aspirations of buyers from Europe. The focus will be data on inflation of the largest economies, including Polish.

Just a fraction of a point away WIG20 index from piercing the barrier 2000 points, unbeaten since November 23, 2015 year. Perhaps the buyer will want to have at the opening fight of the completion of this level, which is of great psychological importance in the context of further increases. Otherwise, it is possible to profit-taking – from January WIG20 gained almost 20 percent.

Even if investors WSE go with the flow and trading will start on Thursday in positive territory, rather vain hope for as good session as Wednesday . This suggests environment. Wall Street indexes closed the day much less impressive than it did in Europe. On the other hand, more or less to zero out the balance currently trading on stock exchanges in Asia.

Further down the sinks to a rate of crude oil. Early morning trading on the stock exchange in New York, falling more than 1 percent. below $ 38 per barrel. About $ 2 more costs Brent, taniejący 0.8 percent.

Shortly lasted so pleased investors yesterday published data on fuel inventories in the United States. Recall that although increased, but only by 2.3 million barrels against a forecast of 3.1 million. A week earlier, the growth reached 9.4 million barrels.

Another hour elapsed, among others, Data on inflation, which publish the most important European economies. These will include aggregated data regarding the Eurostat index for the whole euro zone, which analysts say will again be negative. The forecasts assume a decline in prices year-on-year at 0.1 per cent., But after yesterday’s better than expected as a result of inflation in Germany may be different.

About 14:00 similar data present CSO. Rather, there is no doubt that the reading will be deflationary. This status remains almost 2 years. Unknown, however, is the scale of decline in prices per annum. Consensus expects to maintain momentum from a month ago, or 0.8 percent.

It should also follow news from the UK. Today, public speech Mark Carney, Governor of the Bank of England, as well as the final GDP reading for the fourth quarter. Then there are US data on applications for unemployment benefits. This again this week reading speaking on the condition of the labor market for the ocean, but what is important – not the last. Tomorrow, the icing on the cake, or report the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

We already know what the parents will spend 500 zł [POLL] – Forsal.pl

We asked the respondents believe parents will spend money from the government program. Almost half believe that food and clothes for the children. But the next item on the list is the need for parents – considered almost 18 percent. respondents. 12 percent. He believes that the 500 zł will be used to support children’s education, but also by almost 12 percent. – Alcohol and Other Drugs. Although the target transfer of public money to families will be large, because every year to be 23 billion zł, only 2.6 percent of Poles think that will be something out of it put down.

– The results of the survey is the result of attitude to the program and political views, if someone is his opponent is generally estimated that the money will not be spent as intended – notes demographer Professor. Peter Szukalski from the University of Lodz. What is comforting is the fact that these results change significantly if we separate from the group of surveyed people who declare that they will benefit from the program. There significantly from 60 to 80 percent. increasing the percentage of responses indicating that the Poles will spend money with Family 500 plus food and clothing for children or educational purposes. According to our interlocutor the result is closer to the truth. – Those who are the beneficiaries more aware of the needs of families – emphasizes demographer. – We assume that the parents, who will participate in this program better knowledge of what to spend the money – agrees Małgorzata Sikorska sociologist at Warsaw University. However, he stresses that even in this group, according to 5 percent. surveyed the money from the Family 500 plus will be spent on alcohol and drugs.

This does not change the government’s positive assessment of the program by the participants of the survey. Thus speaks more than 57 percent. respondents, negatively – less than 30 percent. 65 percent. of respondents believe that it will be beneficial for the budgets of Polish families.

The survey also shows that local governments should get ready for a siege, as much as 63 percent declaring that benefit from the program requests in the community. About one-third say they will submit an application electronically through banks, portal Emp @ tia Trusted Profile ZUS or ePUAP-in.

Thus, the court sustained the earlier decision prohibiting the company FoodCare sale and advertising of energy drinks with that sign. Wieslaw Włodarski company has already announced an appeal.

[Update: 13:55]

– This is a very important judgment, again on my advantage and devastating for FoodCare. The courts are unanimous in my case, and this is most important. Judgment in Krakow once again confirms that the wicked behavior in business methods, which uses the company FoodCare, you can not tolerate. In life and business, operates a fair and does not break contracts – I hope that the company you Włodarski will be the remembered in the future – summed up the judgment Dariusz Michalczewski.

The court in the reasoning emphasized that the operation of the Company FoodCare was contrary to morality, in particular the principle “pacta sunt servanda”, which says that “agreements should be kept.” The court ruled that the company Wieslaw Włodarski not behave loyally towards their partner, or Dariusz “Tiger” Michalczewski, and the use of the sign by the TIGER FoodCare was dependent character. Court judged FoodCare action against Dariusz Michalczewski as even “indecent” – says the foundation “Equally Opportunities” Michalczewski.

War of the mark takes the seventh year, and the process before the Krakow court rolled five years. The decision of the District Court was made in the first instance, this means that the company FoodCare may appeal to the second instance.

According to lawyers FoodCare District Court issuing the invalid judgment, he gave incorrect interpretation of the decision of the Polish Patent Office in Warsaw August 2015 to the effect that the priority for use of the characters “Black Tiger” and “Wild Tiger” for FoodCare.

Therefore, as the company said reports that after analyzing the reasons on which the company now waiting, most likely benefit from actually granted him the right to appeal.

The case began in 2009 when the foundation “Equal Opportunities” belonging to the former boxer Dariusz Michalczewski, filed an application to the Polish Patent Office in Warsaw in order to deprive the company FoodCare trademark rights element “Tiger”. The Foundation relies on the earlier rights Michalczewski to sign TIGER VIT and personal rights boxer.

Patent Office, however, dismissed the applications for annulment of characters BLACK TIGER and WILD TIGER stating that the allegations of bad faith are not justified.

In 2010, the company FoodCare refused Foundation “Equal Opportunities” payment of commissions from the sale of drinks with “TIGER”, produced under license by Dariusz “Tiger” Michalczewski. “Such action, the company FoodCare violated provisions of the agreement between the parties, leaving the Foundation choice and forcing her to take the necessary activity in court. As a result of the unfair proceedings of the company Wieslaw Włodarski Foundation” Equal Opportunities “solved the immediate binding their agreement and filed District Court in Krakow lawsuit against the company FoodCare “- we read in the earlier Communication foundation.

Gorge did not bring the decision of the Polish Patent Office dated 5 August 2015 in which both sides interpreted in a different way, or it that Michalczewski once won the lawsuit. At the end of 2014 years – as we mentioned earlier – Court of Appeal considered all the arguments Michalczewski and its foundation committing FoodCare to pay more than 15 million to the Foundation “Equal Opportunities”, which the company immediately after the announcement of the judgment paid.

Despite this, the owner of FoodCare argued that the right is on his side. – I would like to point out contradicting the words of Mr. Dariusz Michalczewski, that does not have a single final judgment, which would confirm that the right in dispute over brand Tiger is on the side of Mr Michalczewski – said Wieslaw Włodarski.

Renewable energy to pay. Scientist explains why – Money.pl

The world as we know largely owe fossil fuels. The time came to say goodbye to them – says Marcin Popkiewicz, mega-trends analyst and author of the book “Energy revolution. But why?”. In his opinion, there is no technological barriers, to do it.

According to Popkiewicz, this revolution in Poland should be seen as an opportunity to develop a modern and innovative industry: if it had been created the right conditions, Polish company’s renewable energy sector could achieve international success to measure Pesa, Solaris or Newagu.

– From a historical perspective we live in an incredibly convenient. Because most of the history of the social structure look like that at the top of the social hierarchy were a few percent of the elect and the rest feverishly worked to this, and only this group lived as comfortably – says Popkiewicz.

suggestively calculates the energy we get from a liter of oil or gasoline, corresponding week of the operating intensive work man working eg. in the field or carrying a burden.

– Since when we have oil, coal, gas – we do not need slaves or peasants serfs. We need workers, engineers, people in the administration, the creators. Most of us no longer have to work hard and we could do something else. The world is thus much has changed – there were widespread human rights, property rights, women’s rights – things that once were not obvious – said the author.

Popkiewicz but there is no doubt – this is the last century of domination of fossil fuels . Firstly, because it is depleted. This does not mean that they do not exist, but it easily accessible deposits are exhausted, making it increasingly difficult and expensive it is to recover them. To these have been added to climate change, and in fact his dangerous warming. That’s why at last year’s conference in Paris nations of the world have agreed that you can not afford to increase the planet’s temperature higher than 1.5 – 2 degrees Celsius.

– The last time the Earth was about 2 degrees warmer, the level of the sea was higher by twenty yards away. A 2014 enrolled as the hottest ever temperature measurements. 2015 was even warmer. This has consequences – pointed Popkiewicz. He recalled that the conflict in Syria to a large extent contributed to the largest in the modern history of this country drought. Of course, imposed on it are other factors, but certainly drought situation destabilized.

– As a result, we have hundreds of thousands of refugees, and if we look further predictions of climate change, both for the Middle East and Africa, in perspective, we have dozens, if not hundreds of millions of climate refugees. And then what do we do? We accept all of them? We accept some? Which? And if you do not accept, and those millions, however, you will want to come, then what do we do? Then there will be easy decisions – he says.

That’s why the world has decided that fossil fuels have to give up – pointed. This – as it is called – megatrend applies not only in the EU but in his direction also follow the US and China. In the United dozen closed coal plants, but in the last year. Year three-quarters of the investment in the US energy sector investments in renewable energy sources, the rest of the gas. China, the world’s biggest “polluter”, they have a plan to change energy model. They want to create a big market of renewable energy sources in order to built on the companies that generate innovative solutions, then these solutions will go to the global market, which will mean thousands of billions of dollars for the Chinese sector of renewable energy sources.

– the EU, China , the United States and other countries realize that there is a future that is not only safe, but also business and future jobs – says the author.

in his opinion, thinking about the energy revolution in the category of chance, not a threat , is a way for Polish. Popkiewicz adds that we have, of course, its own characteristics, because the Polish coal was, is, and for some time it will. Transforming our energy must therefore be gradual.

– We can not from one day to go to a different energy mix – it must take 20, 30 years. The more that’s when – contrary to the claims of proponents of major resource Polish black gold – over to us coal, whose production will be economically justified – he added.

Popkiewicz is convinced that it can be with us to move away from fossil fuels and create a hundred percent Polish, stable and secure energy system. Would be for him to make energy from wind, solar, biogas, demand management, smart grids, storage of heat, energy-efficient transport and other innovative solutions. Others, eg. Germany and the Scandinavians are working on such solutions. – There is no technological barriers, or even longer economic barriers are in our heads – he argues.

In his opinion, we should not “maintain” the mining industry, most – in his opinion – the inefficient sector, whose contribution to our economic growth it is actually negative, which receives money sectors in which we should invest. – Do not earn on the preservation of areas of a bygone era – he said.

In his opinion in Poland would create a market for example. Zeroenergetyczne on houses. – We have engineers who can do them. When you create a market for them, then after a few years we will be able to leave the offer on the outside. We should build in Poland, the market for these solutions and develop their own specialties. For example, biogas – pointed.

The fact that it works testifies – in his opinion – an example of the great successes of Polish transport companies as Newag, PESA or Solaris.

– A few years ago we created Polish market, because local governments were needed modern trains, trams and buses. Companies have invested in innovative solutions and when our 40-million market has become for them too tight, began its international expansion – says Popkiewicz.

In his view, our rulers now have “an incredible opportunity for a good change,” to show that they found the energy system straight from the times of Gierek and go in the direction of the transformation, create lots of great jobs.

– Thinking of Silesia, we should not wonder how to maintain systemically unprofitable mines, but how to create future-oriented jobs – highlights .

The court in the reasoning emphasized that the operation FoodCare was contrary to good morals, and especially with the principle of “pacta sunt servanda”, which means that “agreements should be kept.” FoodCare Company has paid to the account of the foundation “Equal Opportunities” compensation in the amount of nearly 22 million zł – so much demanded in 2014. Michalczewski for unlawful use of his nickname.

– In life is like in sports, you just have to be fair, and my story is an example of how persistently have to fight to prove their case – says Michalczewski. – The case lasted for years, but it was worth it, you need to eradicate such behavior, which acts out the company FoodCare.

In January 2011, the. District Court in Kraków issued a decision, which forbade FoodCare sale and promotion of drinks with “Tiger”. The company appealed to the Court of Appeal, but it was dismissed.
