PKP PLK invests in improving the safety of nearly 1,300 road junctions from the fairway.
Railway by the end of next year plans to complete construction of two special programs co-financed from EU funds, through across the country which will be modernized 307 runs. The project will cost nearly 300 million zł. But the total expenditure to improve safety at the junction of tracks and roads will be much higher: if you count the costs of the journeys within the framework of the modernization and revitalization of the railways, spending will reach approximately one billion dollars. Consequently, the number of modernized, safer crossings should increase to 1300.
