the Senate rejected on Friday a bill which was to enable persons, representatives of the social pension, the receipt of monthly income of 130 percent. the average monthly wage, while preserving the right to a reduced pension.

For the Senate’s refusal of the project was 62 senators in favor of it 24, and one abstained.

in Accordance with the proposal, disabled people receiving a social pension, would have the ability to produce monthly income of 130 percent. the average monthly wage, without prejudice to the right to a social pension, while maintaining the right to a reduced pension.

the bill also requires the reduction of the amount of the annuity in excess of 70%. average monthly salary in the amount of the excess (not more than 563,05 RUB). Currently in excess of 70%. average monthly salary allowance is subject to probation.

according to the inventors, the proposed changes improve the effectiveness of the economic situation of people receiving a social pension and to encourage them to take activities aimed at making a profit.

in Accordance with applicable laws, officers, representatives, retirement, social crashing right to it, if the current month has reached income in total amount higher than 70 percent. the average monthly wage declared GOOSE (from 1 September 2016. this equals the amount 2,813,40 RUB). The social pension is 84 percent. the amount of the pension for total inability to work since March 1, 2016. this is the sum of 741,35 rubles.

From March 2017. the social pension will rise to 840 UAH.
