Gazprom’s net profit in 2014. Fell by 70 percent. – On 24

Gazprom announced that its net profit in 2014 fell by as much as 70 percent. to the level of 189 billion rubles.

The decrease in profit is a result of, among others, smaller volumes of gas that Ukraine imports. An important issue proved to be attempts to block gas supply rewersowych realized with the territory of Hungary, Polish and Slovakia to Ukraine. Gazprom lost by almost $ 6 billion.

The decrease in profit Gazprom is not the end of trouble. The company also reduced gas production in January and February. by 14 percent. year on year. The depreciating oil makes indexed to the price of the raw material gas contracts forcing Gazprom providing significant discounts European partners.

20 liters of fuel refueling, in fact, pour about a liter less. A … – Gazeta.pl

Market surveillance fuel sales at service stations serve the region and district offices of measurement. The Supreme Chamber of Control examined what actions in recent years have taken these offices in terms of validation and control of distributors in the province. Lodz and Świętokrzyskie. Since 2012. The first half of 2014. They legalized there over 14 thousand. distributors of gasoline, diesel and gas. However, as long as the legalization of distributors at petrol stations carry out in accordance with regulations and technical requirements, is to control the amount of fuel sold has already shown a lot of material misstatement.

Employees peripheral offices of measures in Lodz and Łowiczu carry out checks on various service stations on average once every five years, and offices in Zdunska Wola measures and Kielce – appropriately once every seven and nine years. Record holders were officials from Piotrkow Trybunalski, who conducted the study of individual stations every 14 years. In addition, during the audit were checked only selected distributors, rather than all at the station. Meanwhile, according to the guidelines of the Central Office of Measures liquid fuel dispensers should be checked every two years, and gas – once a year. Authorities checked explained the shortcomings staffing and equipment.

Gas beyond the control

Only two of the six offices audited – the district and peripheral measures authorities in Lodz – take control metrology (correct operation) gas distributors. As dysponowały one device to control the gas flow were not able to provide the appropriate frequency and research of the two regions. In the years 2012-14 (first half) in respect of metrology inspected only 71 gas distributors with more than 2.6 thousand. validated devices (ie, less than 3 per cent.). Given the current rate of inspection, it is expected that each LPG distributor will be audited once every 94 years. Roughly speaking, the gas sales market is effectively out of control offices of measures.

announced checks – no deficiencies

Offices of measurement can be carried out at gas stations just announced visits, and with at least seven days in advance. Exceptions are inspections that counteract the offense, including tax, which is usually carried out at the Complaint. Announced inspections showed that only three of the 2.1 thousand. audited distributors of gasoline and diesel incorrectly meter out the amount of fuel sold (from 0.6 per cent. to 5.6 per cent.). Interestingly, in one case, a distributor of underestimating the station indicate the detriment of 1.5 percent.

Meanwhile, in agreement with the SCC check the accuracy of fuel metering performed Provincial Inspectorate of the Trade Inspection in Łódź. His unannounced inspections revealed the true extent of errors: irregularities were found in four of the 28 stations surveyed (14.3 percent).. More than 60 per cent. all examined distributors of gasoline and diesel fuel (48 units at four stations with 77 total) zawyżało fuel indication (from 4.3 per cent. to 5.6 per cent.) at the expense of the buyer. This means that the driver filling up 20 liters of fuel, in fact, had it in Baku with a liter less. In the course of unannounced inspections there was no single case in which a fuel station nalewałaby against himself.

Nearly 200 stations outside records

Measuring Office in Lodz and supervised by the peripheral measures authorities did not have complete data on the number of service stations operating in their area. According to their lists in the district of Lodz in 1250 operated service stations and LPG, and in accordance with a list of petrol stations run by the OCCP 1429 operated stations. This means that nearly 200 of these were the face of the government measures and could not be covered by the controls. NIK notes, however, that the legislation does not provide measurement data delivery offices of stations operating in their area.

Report on the working conditions. “Abnormally” hired pilots … – On the 24

The conditions of employment at 6 pilot could have negative consequences in everyday work and lead to a risk to aviation safety – warn experts at the University of Ghent in Belgium.

A study conducted by experts from the University of Ghent covered 6 thousand. pilots.

The pilots did not directly affiliated with any airline and employed by temporary employment agencies or without a guaranteed wage agreements are often difficult social conditions. Added to this is that young people have to pay for flying operators, in order to gain experience. Then reluctant to report any technical problems, so as not to lose the flight. It also happens that pilots fly with the minimum fuel.

Experts estimate that the reason for this situation, there are gaps in the labor law, or incorrectly implemented safety regulations.
