Fiat has suspended the strike until April 8 – Pulse HR

“Solidarity” Fiat Bielsko strike was carried out on March 13. However, the company’s management invited union wage talks, because the action was suspended.

– Our priority is to increase the wages of workers. The company’s management did not want us to talk about it, so we started preparing to strike. In view of the fact that the employer eventually wants to engage in dialogue and reach an agreement, we decided to suspend the strike to start on April 8 – says Wanda Stróżyk, head of Solidarity in Fiat Auto Poland.

Stróżyk stresses that in Bielsko Magneti Marelli for 2 years was not higher wages, but at the same time constantly growing burden on tasks. Solidarity in FAP demanded substantial increases in the rates of all employees of 2,50 zł per hour, or 420 zł per month for dipped working time from Monday to Friday.
