The median wage in large enterprises, which employ more than a thousand people, was about 60% higher than in micro-enterprises, or companies with up to 9 employees – according to the National Compensation Research conducted in 2014 by Sedlak & amp; Sedlak.
Every other micro employee earned in 2014, less than 3 000 PLN. In small companies – employing up to 49 people – median already more than 500 PLN (3 528 PLN). Medium-sized enterprises, employment or plants between 50 and 249 people, another employee paid more than 4 600 PLN gross.
