Warsaw, 01.07.2015 (ISBBnews) – Bank Pekao acquired 100% of shares of UniCredit CAIB Poland from UniCredit Bank Austria AG and renamed the company to Pekao Investment Banking, the bank said in a statement.
“The group’s will be expanded to include new services in the field of strategic consulting in the area of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, arranging financing in the capital markets and the conduct brokerage business for corporate customers” – said in a statement.In August ub., Bank Pekao SA from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) approved the acquisition of shares in UniCredit CAIB Poland entitling to more than 50% of the total number of votes at the general meeting of the company.
UniCredit CAIB Poland operates in Poland for over 20 years, specializes in advising the transaction.
