Today, January 12, 2015., Jan Krzysztof Bielecki, a former Prime Minister, President of Bank Pekao and head of the Economic Council, began work as Chairman of the Board of Partners in EY Poland.

As part of this role, the areas of engagement Jan Krzysztof Bielecki will include activities in the field of mentoring and counseling provided EY Polish group of partners, representing and supporting the brand EY Poland on the Polish and international markets and to support companies in their efforts to promote Polish in the international arena as a country offering attractive conditions for foreign companies to invest.

Jan Krzysztof Bielecki will also be responsible for the co-creation of the company’s strategy EY Poland in terms of support to Polish companies, as well as in the promotion and development of Polish entrepreneurship, among others, as part of the program, EY Entrepreneur of the Year, Polish edition.

Jan Krzysztof Bielecki is a professional with the unique conditions of the Polish market positions that have shaped the experience gained in the course of many prestigious positions in the arena of business and in the public sector.

In the ’80s he was an activist of the democratic opposition. As an economic expert “Solidarity” authorities collaborated with underground connection. On the recommendation of Lech Walesa was appointed Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland in 1991, and in 1992, in a subsequent post-Solidarity office, held the position of Minister. European Integration.

In the years 1993-2003 he was a representative of Polish European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London, and in the years 2003-2010 he held the position of President of the Management Board of Bank Pekao SA, the second largest bank in Poland. From March 2010 to December 2014, he chaired the Economic Council to the Prime Minister’s Office.
