“Living for the Young” to correct – eGospodarka

More support for families with many children, a partial lifting of age restrictions, the reduction of other barriers – the government adopted a draft law on the “Living for the young”. The government, after examining the findings of the current operation of the program, came to the conclusion that the MdM requires changes.

From 2014 years, ie since the beginning of the program, “Living for the young”, whereby the State dopłacało own contribution to young people acquiring their first apartment, granted 16 thousand. 242 loans backed by funding to 372.4 million zł, of which 251.8 million zł paid. The government, after examining the effects of the program decided that the program requires adjustments, particularly for greater support for large families.

The government wants to allow participation in the program for those who want to make use of mediation in the acquisition of housing apartment. Currently, the state can only get support for housing generated on the basis of development and housing built for the members of the cooperative, which has already been completed and settled. Program will be also included in the apartment as a result of conversion or adaptation, not just new ones.

Most of the other amendments concern more support for families with many children, or parents of at least three children. From 50 to 65 sq. M living space will be increased from the surcharge would be calculated downpayment for families with at least three children. For these families, the government also proposes to dispense with the condition of the first housing and the age limit. The program will therefore be able to use those with longer flat, but willing to buy more.

The government project also increases the amount of funding downpayment for families and individuals with more than one child from 15 to 20 percent, and in the case of three children and more from 15 to 30 percent.

The program can also be used by people that do not have credit standing. In their case, the credit agreement will proceed with the immediate family.
