Oil flows already “Druzhba” pipeline – Banker

PERN assured, however, that the two Polish refineries – PKN Orlen and Grupa Lotos and two German refineries – PCK Schwedt and Mider Spergau “are supplied without hindrance from the stocks’ accumulated in the warehouses of the company. In the afternoon PERN said that supplies to the base in Adams already held smoothly.


 

“On Monday, in the chair. 16. received information about the resumption of supplies to the base in Adams. Oil appeared there in the chair. 16.15. Currently, there are already pumping normal” – PERN spokesman told PAP.


 

On Monday, the Russian media citing the operator Transneft, the Russian oil supplies to Europe were on Monday seriously diminished due to the breach of the Druzhba pipeline in Belarus. In the afternoon, Transneft assured that he is ready to resume supplies.

 

“After the incident flow is first fully stopped. Then I managed to resume it on one of the two strands, the second has undergone repairs,” – said a spokesman for the Russian operator Igor Diemin. “Volume (transported oil) dropped by half,” – he said.


 

Martin Zachowicz, a spokesman for the Lotos Group, which includes the refinery in Gdansk disguising supplied mainly oil pipeline Friendship PAP reported that “the company is not recorded on Monday any trouble in the supply to the refinery in Gdansk”. “Deliveries are made as usual” – he added.


 

The pipeline Friendship, was put into operation in 1964. It begins in Almietjewsku, runs through Samara and Bryansk to Mozyr, where it is separated into two lines: the north, running through Belarus and Poland to Germany, and the south, running through Ukraine, Slovakia, the two branches of the Czech Republic and Hungary.


 

Base in Adams takes oil obtained “friendship” with the territory of Belarus and stores it in the 15 above-ground steel tanks with a capacity of 32 thousand. cubic meters., 50 thousand. cubic meters. and 100 thousand. cubic meters. Then, the three sections, conveys it further. Eastern section of the Druzhba pipeline connects the base in Adams raw material base in Plock. This section reaches a throughput of 50 million tons of oil per year.


 

The western section of the Druzhba pipeline carries crude oil to the base, located in the German Schwedt. That part of the material flows bus for two German refineries: PCK Raffinerie GmbH Schwedt and TOTAL Raffinerie Mitteldeutschland GmbH in Spergau. The western section of the Druzhba pipeline has a capacity of 27 million tons of oil per year.


 

Pomeranian section of the pipeline connects the resource base in Plock, based in Gdansk. This way, the Russian oil flows suitable for Gdańsk refinery belonging to Grupa Lotos and export through Naftoport. Pomeranian pipeline material can be transported in two directions. On the route Gdańsk-Plock its capacity is approx. 30 million tonnes of oil per year, and in the opposite direction of the pipeline has a capacity approx. 27 million tonnes per year. (PAP)
