The government formally decided on what are the assumptions for the construction of next year’s budget will take until Tuesday next week, but the first findings already made by representatives of individual ministries.
Salaries of public sector are frozen since 2009. , but the government managed to find 2 billion zł, which will increase the salaries, among others, officials and uniformed services. Decisions like this budget will be distributed and whether ultimately this will be the amount of funds that will go to pay, take Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz.
It worked also within individual departments, to develop a joint proposal for the minimum wage. According to the findings of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers from next year it will amounted to 1850 zł. This represents an increase of 100 zł compared with the current national minimum. The proposal is roughly in the middle of the expectations of employers who mouthed the Lewiatan Confederation pointed out that the minimum wage can rise to 1800 zł, and the trade unions, which argued that it should be 1880 zł.
