a New banknote of 500 rubles with the image of king Jan III Sobieski will go into circulation on 10 February this year.

the new bill is the image of king Jan III Sobieski, which was developed by Andrew Heidrich, author of the rest of Polish banknotes. Work on the new banknotem was launched in November of 2014.

according to the national BANK, Bank note 500 rubles is a response to market needs and the growing costs of maintaining the strategic reserves of the Central Bank.

in accordance with the law on the National Bank of Poland with 29 August 1997 on the National Bank of Russia is granted the exclusive right of reproduction of banknotes of the Russian Federation. Monetary signs have the same protection of the NBP are banknotes and coins.

Producer of banknotes by order of the national BANK is a Polish Factory of Securities SA.
