The merger will be subject to obtaining the required regulatory approvals and permits related to the merger, including the authorization of the Financial Supervision Commission. Under the agreement, the bank acquired from BNP Paribas PF 1 000 ordinary registered shares of Sygma Bank Poland, representing 100% of the share capital of Sygma Bank Poland and representing 100% of votes at the general meeting of Sygma Bank Poland, for a price in the amount of 200 million zł. The Bank also acquired from BNP Paribas PF 273 438 ordinary registered shares of LSP, representing 100% of the share capital of LSP price of 11 million zł.
BGZ BNP Paribas said that the bank’s management expects that the acquisition of Sygma Bank Poland with LSP expand possessed by the bank range of products on the Polish market for consumer finance products, which will have a positive impact on the bank’s income, with slightly negative impact on the level of capital ratios.
Sygma Bank Poland specializes in helping retailers through financial and non-financial services, especially credit cards, installment loans and cash loans.
