PKN Orlen started negotiations ws. Wage increases – Banker


             PKN Orlen started on Wednesday negotiations between company management and trade unions operating there on this year’s wage increases for employees. According to the Collective Labour Agreement for concluding the agreement expires at the end of February.
           

 

According to information obtained by the PAP, parties to the negotiations presented a preliminary position, taking into account both wage growth. They scheduled another meeting, which will probably take place next week.


 

Negotiations wage between management and trade unions operating in PKN Orlen, held at the beginning of each year. In recent years, the effect of these arrangements the trade unions, however, was not fully satisfied. That was in 2015. When negotiations eventually agreed that instead of salary increases for all employees will be paid one-off awards in the total amount of PLN 3 thousand. zł, and will be increased levels of the two additives. The agreement contains the following three successive rounds of negotiations in the last almost set by the Collective Bargaining Agreement deadline, February 27.
 

In Wednesday’s negotiations with representatives of the Board of PKN Orlen on the increase in the salaries of employees of the company in 2016. Participated representation of all trade unions operating there, who presented a common position. Previously discussed, among others, financial results of the company for 2015.

 

After the changes as chairman and on the board of PKN Orlen atmosphere negotiation is different, much better. Shots were first proposed, both the union and the employer. The differences are large positions, but it is better to open than before. I think that the next meeting, the meeting can, bring a good result for the crew. We want in particular, the employees in the lowest grade category received the greatest financial inducements, in particular to the basic salary. It is particularly important to us, because three years was not in our major increases – told PAP Boguslaw Pietrzak, President of the Inter-Trade Union Movement Continuous group PKN Orlen.


 

Pietrzak has stipulated that at this initial stage of the negotiations does not want to reveal the details of the positions expressed by the management and the trade unions on this year’s wage growth in PKN Orlen. The specifics for the time being I do not want to talk, because the positions are still divergent. But the employer appeared to amount to a basic salary, and this is already a good sign. Unions presented a joint position, bringing about an increase in basic salary and award-off – said the head of the largest trade union organization, operating in Plock concern.


 

Press Office PKN Orlen refused to inform on Wednesday the details started wage negotiations: the negotiations do not provide information about their progress.


 

In 2015. Management and unions PKN Orlen agreed that instead of an increase in basic salary will be paid one-off bonuses in the total amount of PLN 3 thousand. zł, and will be increased levels of two supplements – for work in the system of equivalent working time standards by 37 zł and the basic contribution to the Employee Retirement paid by the employer for 30 zł. Both additions were increased from 1 July 2015. The basic premium to the Employee Retirement Program then increased to 180 zł, a global shift increased to 500 zł. According to the agreement, a one-time award of 1500 zł paid in March and December 2015.


 

Earlier, in the framework of an agreement on the growth rate of wages in 2014. Parties to the negotiations agreed discretionary wage increase of an average of 100 zł per month per employee from 1 August 2014. And payment – in April and December – awards one-time total the amount of 3 thousand. zł. It was also agreed quota indexation allowances and benefits defined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement for the average consumer price index, ie. By 0.9 percent.


 

PKN Orlen is the biggest strategic entity the refinery and petrochemical industry in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. The company’s main plant in Plock employs approx. 4 thousand. employees and the average gross wage is there 9 thousand. 797 zł. Trade unions PKN Orlen emphasize that at this level consists of salaries of directors and senior managers, and this amount for many of the company’s employees is unattainable.


 

PKN Orlen announced in late January that the group’s net profit of its group for 12 months of 2015. Has reached 3 billion 233 million zł, while the profit per unit of net PKN Orlen was at the time of 1 billion 48 million zł.
