Germany: per hour at least 8.5 euro – Banker

The hour of work at least 8.5 euros. That is from today in Germany. With the new year in our western neighbors began to apply the minimum wage.

 
 
 

The introduction of the minimum wage was one of the main demands of the German Social Democratic Party now co. It is estimated that the new rules will benefit nearly 4 million workers who earn far less than 8.50 euros per hour.


 

The minimum wage will not initially but all employees. Some industries, eg. Meat, agricultural and Security won himself a two-year transitional period.
 

The right to a minimum wage are not minors, which is not yet finished training and apprentices. Also, people who have long remained unemployed, do not have to make money right away 8.50 euros per hour. For the first six months of employment, they may get less.
