Top-earning residents of larger centers received salaries in excess of 7 000 PLN gross per month. It’s about 1 700 PLN more than earned the highest paid workers in small cities.

Both large and small cities wages rose with the level of your education. The highest wages were reported among people with higher education graduate who worked in big cities. The median of their remuneration in 2013 amounted to PLN 5 000. While those with a master’s degree working in small, with up to 50 thousand. residents of towns earned an average of 4 000 PLN. The lowest salary received by persons with primary and secondary – 2 300 PLN in small towns and 2 500 PLN in large cities.

There was a significant difference in the salaries of people working in Polish and foreign companies. In large cities, the difference amounted to 1 950 PLN (Polish companies offered a salary of 3 800 PLN and foreign 5 750 PLN). However, in small towns differential wages of people working in foreign companies and Polish amounted to 1 400 PLN. (Average salary: 3 100 PLN Polish companies and 4 500 PLN in foreign companies.)
