PGNiG seeks compensation from the Russians – Banker

PGNiG seeks compensation from the Russians – Banker

As reported RMF24, Polish Oil and Gas Company Gazprom sent a letter referring to the smaller gas supplies beyond our eastern border. The Company will require clarification and compensation. The amount of compensation has yet been given.

In recent days, the Polish gas together accounted for less than that which was contracted. Gazprom explains this situation need to fill Russian magazines. This process is influenced by the need to reduce Gazprom’s supplies to Polish to a predetermined minimum. PGNiG retorts, however, that the contract does not include provisions for minimum deliveries, but only for a maximum orders.

RMF also learned that last Wednesday by one of the pipelines leading from the Belarus Poland only received one million cubic meters of gas, even though it was announced until 6000000.

Although PGNiG reported recently that the gas company’s warehouses are filled with 100%. However, it appears that the company still has some surface even unfinished storage, which results in an increased frequency of orders in recent times.
