Pendolino is a symbol of change in the Polish railways – PortalSamorzadowy.pl

Not every line is sacred. If you do not have both passengers and goods to transport, the route must be eliminated – says the chairman of PKP SA.

Three companies of PKP Group – Power Station, TK Telekom and PKP – were to be privatized by the end of the year. At the end of September is still not no buyer.

The number one goal – as stated Karnowski – is at the moment the privatization of PKP Intercity. President hopes that the situation in this regard could gain momentum when, in December Pendolino enters the track.

Karnowski points out that this year will be a record when it comes to spending on Polish railways. And thus, the worst for passengers. – We spend more than 7 billion on it to modernize infrastructure neglected for years – says in Money.pl.

President of PKP also announced in the near future a number of moves to improve the financial situation of the company, although it may be unpopular. Not only for passengers.
