Rat: appreciation of the zloty harmless for the economy – GazetaPrawna.pl

Mateusz Szczurek stresses that economic growth in Poland is mainly based on investment and private consumption, so strong zloty is not a direct threat to this year’s GDP growth forecasts. The minister added, however, that exporters will feel the decline of the euro.

Mateusz Szczurek believes that the biggest problem may be the rate at which gold is strengthened. Stresses that are bothering any sudden changes in the currency market.
Average exchange rate of the euro in the Polish National Bank is now 4 gold and 1 penny per dollar to pay 3 gold 74 cents, as the Swiss franc 3 gold 85 cents, and for British pound 5 dollars and 53 cents.
