“We want to earn more”, at least 2,800 zł. The campaign in the … – TVP

The organizers of the campaign “We want to make more money”: Free Trade Union “August 80″, National Trade Union “Workers’ Initiative”, the Party of Greens and the Polish Labour Party, demanding to raise the minimum wage to PLN 2800 gross hourly wage of not less than 15 gold.

As part of demonstrations were held in several cities – including in Warsaw and Poznan, where about thirty people marched with drums and posters. In the capital, protesters argued that wages in Poland constitute less than 35 percent of GDP, and in Western Europe is spent on salaries up to 65 percent of GDP.

Currently, the minimum wage in Poland is PLN 1,750. According to the Act it is raised every year by tens of dollars.
