The first modern terminal at Chopin Airport is back in the new version. He disappeared distinctive claret roof, but the terminal has become roomier and more comfortable. It is prepared to handle over 20 million passengers.
– The investment in the expansion of the terminal is part of a considered business strategy Chopin Airport whose long-term aim is to create in Warsaw large and important center on a European scale air. We want to become the leading port in Central Europe annually serving more than 20 million passengers. I am convinced that this is quite a realistic plan, and the opening of the new terminal is the first step on this path – says Michał Kaczmarzyk, director of the Warsaw Chopin Airport.
The new terminal at 60 thousand. square meters, seven storeys and is located in the 1.3 thousand. rooms. Passengers can take advantage of the 48 posts check-in desks and self-service 6 places – the number of the latter is likely to increase.
Passengers waiting for their flights may also take advantage of the 10 bars and restaurants and do some shopping in 15 stores best known brands.
In addition to shops and dining options, there was also a long-awaited terrace from which anyone can watch takeoffs and landings of aircraft.

The Terrace is 150 meters long and is open from 6:00 to 22:00. Admission is free.
