Most of the fuel dispensers inspected by the Trade Inspection meets the requirements. Of the 243 units, 40 (16.4 percent.) Incorrectly indicated the amount of gas oil fuel.
In the second and third quarter of 2015 years Trade Inspection examined 243 Fuel dispenser at 80 stations. The audit was carried out throughout the country, and entrepreneurs were selected at random.
A total of 57 were questioned dispensers due to: incorrect indication of the quantity of gas oil fuel (40 or 16.4 per cent.) and incorrect instructions for use (32 devices, 13.2 percent.). Research has shown that accurate readings ranged from 0.14 percent. to 7.2 percent. to the detriment of consumers. Thus, the driver refueled less fuel than would result from the display device. In extreme cases, instead of 50 liters to Baku car was getting just 46.4 liters.
All challenged the irregularities are eliminated. This means that devices that erroneously meter out the quantity of fuel are listed or – after repair – again legalized by the authorities measures. Fixed the manuals.
At the same time remember that work is underway on a new law on the system of conformity assessment and market surveillance. In accordance with the provisions of the new Act in the structure of the market surveillance system will be President of the Central Office of Measures and the directors of the regional offices of measures, which will allow for the extension of the powers of those bodies in the control of, among others, fuel distributors.
