CBOS: 55 percent. Poles declare that their financial resources are mediocre – Onet.pl

CBOS notes that although declared this year the financial capacity of households are similar to those of 2015, but the percentage of respondents living in the above-average level is now the highest since since the center monitors the issue (ie since 1993), while the percentage of living modestly or poorly – the lowest in this period.

As your above-average living standard specifies 24 percent. of respondents, including 21 percent. They claim that they live well and do not need to save for larger purchases; 3 percent. of respondents say that they live very well, ie. they can afford luxury goods.

The standard of living – highlights the CBOS – is strongly determined by education, and and – to some extent – by the age of the respondents, although in the latter case, the effect is largely associated with the level of education. The relatively worst economic situation are the respondents with primary education and people over 54 years of age.

More often than below above the average level also live subjects with vocational education; in turn, having a secondary education more often declare that they live good than bad. Relatively most indicating a high standard of living is among the best educated and the youngest respondents; only a few of them have difficulty in meeting economic needs.

O lower than the average level of life says at least one third of the respondents from households with monthly income per capita to 1,000 zł, a quarter of respondents, where are they from 1000 zł to 1399 zł, about one-sixth of declaring income from 1400 zł up to 1999 zł, and four out of a hundred having available 2000 zł and more.

According to CBOS 70 percent. Poles do not have a sense of risk of poverty, with 43 per cent. It takes into account the deterioration of their financial situation; turn 27 percent. is calm about his future in this respect.

Poverty is afraid of 29 percent. of respondents, including 22 percent. claims that somehow deal with it can handle, while 7 percent. declares to her helplessness.

CBOS notes that over the past year increased the group of Poles quiet about their finance, disappeared at the same time those who fear poverty. Overall, in the last three years, the Poles feel financially secure than before, and this year the percentage of people declaring sense of risk of poverty is the lowest since about twenty years.

According to CBOS, a sense of risk of poverty depends, which is understandable, since held financial resources. They do not worry her in the vast majority of respondents who currently live on the above-average or average level, although the latter quite often count with the fact that their situation could worsen. While the helplessness of poverty most often declared by people who are already struggling to meet their material needs.

Discontent with their own financial situation declares fifth of respondents from households where per capita falls no more than 649 zł, in turn, good grades material conditions outweigh the negative and the average among those receiving income per capita at the level of 1400 zł and higher.

CBOS notes that the forecasts of the situation of households remain in the last year relatively stable. The vast majority of Poles do not provide for changes in this area. The remaining roughly twice as likely to expect an improvement in their economic situation than its deterioration.

CBOS survey was carried out in held from 2-9 March this year, numbering 1034 persons representative random sample of adult Polish citizens.
