Habitat bats

the old tank Orunia from 1869. to half of the twentieth century. was used to supply drinking water to the inhabitants of Gdansk. He was out of service during the 70s. Today it is one of the largest and most valuable natural habitats of bats in northern Poland. In the near future will be part of the Gdansk Route water supply and will be open to visitors, and in the autumn-winter season will continue to place hibernating bats.

Repair Tank Old Orunia is financed by the Regional Operational Programme for Pomorskie 2014-2020. Gdansk route Waterworks will be open to residents and visitors in 2018.
