We need to build vocational education, which will be permanently associated with the economy – said Education Minister Anna Zalewska at a meeting with entrepreneurs. She pointed out that in June will be presented changes in the education.
– The education system must not only change, but in the case of vocational education – to change quite quickly. Every meeting with employers telling me clearly that there is no time to wait – said the minister during a meeting last Thursday in the capital headquarters of the Polish Chamber of Commerce.
In her opinion, if we do not use the next four years to build vocational education, which permanently will be related to the economy, “the next generation we will not forgive.”
She emphasized that important to her such discussions and presenting different ideas, because in June the Special Economic Zone in Walbrzych present together with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of development Matthew Morawieckim changes that await vocational education.

She noted that such discussions should be building “bridges and flexibility of vocational school.” She admitted that part of the promotion of education could also be a change of name to “technical school” because “zawodówka” associate youth negatively.

Vice President of the National Chamber of Commerce and president of the Association of Vocational Development in Warsaw, Andrzej Pilat expressed support for the work of ministry.
