The biggest problem in the employment of immigrants is the language barrier.

The majority of Ukrainians (over 53% ) declare that they decided to come to the Polish for a profit, taking into account the higher wages in Poland than in their country. Almost 32% believe that Poland will give better living conditions and development. 24% chose to emigrate because of the lack of work in Ukraine, as many left because of the economic situation in the country, while 15% to departure prompted the political situation. 93% of Ukrainians working in Poland believes that the country is open to workers from the eastern border, of which 68% answered that yes, definitely. 83% of employees in Poland Ukrainians are satisfied with their work.

Most (63%) appreciates good relations with colleagues, working conditions (62%) and positive relationships with superiors (61%). 52% of Ukrainians also declared that one of the reasons affecting their job satisfaction in Poland is the positive attitude of Poles towards immigrants.

When asked in turn about this, what elements work in Poland are not satisfied, the Ukrainians mention the most unsatisfactory salary (42%), lack of development opportunities (28%) and workload (19%). More than 50% of immigrants notes that living and working in Poland, the biggest problem is the language barrier and problems with communication, 35% indicate a turn for the ignorance of the law.

Positive opinions about the conditions of work and contacts with Poles reflected in the fact that 90% of Ukrainians would recommend their relatives and friends to work in Poland. When asked instead about what would encourage them to stay in Poland declare that the guarantee of permanent employment (50%) and higher earnings (48%), although 88% of them do not work in the profession consistent with education.
