Abramovich announced that they will go to consultation.
“One of them is a version will be supported by our parliamentary team” – said Abramowicz. The second version is to be branded by the Ministry of Finance.

Version MF: two progressive rates, weekend rates, free amount – 18 million zł per year
The second version will
allow progression and will be similar to the previous proposal of the Ministry of Finance on 2 February. It assumed that the tax had to have two basic rates. The rate of 0.7 percent. was charged to income not exceeding a given month, the amount of 300 million zł.

The rate of 1.3 percent. He was to be paid from the surplus of income over 300 million zł this month. Other sales tax rate were to apply on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays – 1.3 per cent. (For receiving income less than 300 million zł per month) and 1.9 percent. (Above the threshold).

The amount of tax-free would be 1.5 million zł per month (18 million annually).

The merchants protested against the version of the Ministry of Finance of February

these proposals have given rise to protests from a number of interested circles, especially traders. During the meeting of the Social Dialogue on 18 February. Finance Minister Paul Szałamacha admitted that the version of the project February 2, is in the process of working through, is in fact a number of issues which the Ministry of Finance must take into account, for example. that the European Commission strongly negatively speaks about the progressive rate. He also said that many voices have been expressed for increasing the amount of free over 18 million per year, which found it “understandable.” He added that one should “weigh” the arguments for the abolition of separate weekend rates.

It was going well then, that the new version of the draft law on tax on trade will be ready in 7-10 days.

Both versions take into account the requests for franchise networks

Abramovich told PAP on Friday that the new versions of the assumptions of the project “will be taken into account the demands of environmental merchants, for example. this franchise on the network.”

owners of small and medium-sized Polish shops affiliated network Leviathan protest before the Parliament in February and appealed to the draft law, among others, excluded records of the franchise, levies and collects taxes from businesses by NIP, and also used for small businesses (turnover up to 10 million euros per year) and medium (up to 50 million euros per year) tax rate no higher than 0.3 percent.

Minister Henryk Kowalczyk declared after these protests, the franchise network, bringing together small shops, if not in the framework of capital relationship, will not be treated as a single entity, covered by a common stake.
