On long tables with one stand by those who need support, on the other those who have something to offer. A few dozen people, it seems, is a hot pierogi, red borsch, festive bigos and fried carp. Those in need receive a package with food.
Homeless people from all over the country
- even if I had to have only one pot of dumplings, and so, here on the market I’ll be. Christmas eve is already 20. year, we started with 4 thousand. issued by portions, we got to fifty two thousand. It’s impossible to stop. Just look at the faces of these people, in which immense are the needs. At the same time a sociological phenomenon: people who don’t have money, they can come here from all over the country, because somebody something doing for them, – said, opening this year on the eve of its initiator and organizer of Cracow restaurateur Jan Kosciuszko.
the President of Krakow Jacek Majchrowski stressed that the ongoing in Krakow Eva has not its counterpart anywhere else in Poland. – This is totally selfless, he said. The Krakow Metropolitan cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz said that the meeting has been organised in 20 years – to promote brotherhood and community life in solidarity.

Free diagnostic studies

he Added that this year Christmas is special, because 25 Dec marks one hundred years since the death of St. Brother albert, who helped the needy.
Apolitical initiative
the Organizers of the Krakow Christmas party emphasize that this initiative is apolitical, and transparent – gifts fall without intermediaries from the philanthropists to the needy.
