1.3 million unemployed
According to the Central Bureau of Statistics, at the end of November this year, the number of unemployed registered in the employment centers was at the level of 1 million 313 thousand UAH. people, i.e. increased slightly compared to the previous month (by 0.4 percent., that is 5,7 thousand UAH.) but decreased compared to November of last year (up 14.2 per cent., that is, 217 million).
the Lowest unemployment rate was in greater Poland Voivodeship – 5%., the highest in warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodship – 13.9%. In comparison with October has decreased in the Lodz voivodship and Masovian (0.1 p%), and went up in the Lublin voivodship, świętokrzyskie, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship (0.2 p percent). and Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, Podkarpackie, West Pomeranian Voivodeship (0.1% p. a.).
However, as emphasized by the CEO in comparison with November of last year the level of registered unemployment decreased in all provinces. Most in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship (by 2.3 p per cent). and Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship (2.0% R. a.), and to a lesser extent – in the Opole Voivodeship (0.9 percent).
In the structure of the unemployed registered in the employment centers, the proportion of women at the end of November of the current year was higher than the year before R. 1.2 percent. and amounted to 53.9 per cent. Increased slightly, the proportion of people without qualifications (by 0.1 p per cent., 30.8 percent).
Decreased during this part of individuals previously unemployed (R. 1.4 per cent., to 14.9 percent). and graduates (by 0.6 p per cent. 4 percent). Same as before, eligibility for benefits has not been 86.4 per cent. the unemployed.
In November this year is higher than the average employment growth per year was observed, in particular in companies engaged in the manufacture of furniture (by 6.5%), manufacture of articles of rubber and plastics (5.8%), ground transport, and rurociągowym (5.7 percent), manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (5.6%), production of metals (5.5 percent), retail trade (4.0 percent). and manufacture of products of wood, cork, straw and wicker products (3.4 percent).
Lower than a year ago, employment was recorded by companies engaged in mining of coal and lignite (by 7.8 per cent., compared with a decline of 14.8 percent. prior year), building construction (2.4 percent), apparel manufacturing (2.3 percent), construction of civil engineering projects (about 1.5 percent). and specialized construction works (by 0.7 percent).
From January to November 2016. average employment in the enterprise sector amounted to 5 million 752 thousand UAH. man, that was 2.9 percent. observed above a year earlier.
