Euler Hermes insolvencies rose y / y to 71 in September – Business Pulse

“More is not only the number of bankruptcy, but also their economic effect. Published in September declared bankrupt companies concerned having accumulated the last known turnover of approx. 1.2 billion zł, and they employed together, according to the latest available data, approx. 2.5 thousand. persons (both of which are much higher than in the previous month), “- said in a statement.

Over the nine months of this year, the courts declared bankrupt published 630 companies operating in Poland, while in the same period last year it was 713 published bankruptcy. September was the second month of this year (next May), when the number of bankruptcies was higher than in the same period last year, emphasizes Euler Hermes.

The number of bankruptcies published in September is higher than a year ago because of numerous bankrupt companies production and marketing, explains the company.

“Among the biggest bankruptcy is dominated by wholesale distributors (including two of the three largest companies in terms of turnover bankrupt). (…) Bankruptcy manufacturing companies are divided in half for producers of consumption (food and furniture) and investment (building materials, hardware, machine and automotive parts) “- read on.

Euler Hermes also drew attention to the problems of the food industry – in the last month dropped a total of 11 companies (4 producers and 7 wholesalers).
