“This year’s auction proved that Polish purebred Arabian horses are the best in the world. We achieved a record result, nearly 4 million. This year the Arabians aroused great interest of buyers from the Middle East. Many new studs there arises and this is most likely the cause “- said Pruchniewicz.

“We do not want these records to beat, because we do not want to get rid of the best horses. This year we gave a very good rate and we got a very good price. In the stables we still expensive horses” – said the president stud in Janow Podlaski Marek Trela.

Pepita was recognized the best horse and champion older mare at the National Arabian Horse Show True Blood in Janow Podlaski last year. He also has to his credit awards at international exhibitions.

The second most expensive horse at this year’s auction was a gray-haired 11-year-old mare Pistoria, bred in Michaels. The buyer from the United Arab Emirates wylicytował her 625 thousand. euro.

7-year-old chestnut Tower Roses with Michałowa was sold to Qatar for 270 thousand. euro, and the 11-year-old bay mare, Wkra also Michałów – to Saudi Arabia for 260 thousand. euro. Buyer of Qatar wylicytował 252 thousand. euros for gray, 9-year-old, Waseem grown in a private stud Falborek Arabians, and the merchant from the UK paid 250 thousand. euros for a gray, 10-year-old mare Janow Podlaski Altamira.

The merchants from the Middle East bought 16 horses. Arabs from the auction will also go to the Czech Republic, Belgium, Austria. Three horses bought Rolling Stones drummer wife Shirley Watts. Four horses did not receive a satisfactory price breeders and have not been sold before.

In last year’s Pride of Poland sold 24 horses for nearly 2.1 million. The highest price – 305 thous. Euro – wylicytował buyer of Saudi Arabia for a two-year dark bay mare bred at the stud Piacolla in Michaels.

The previous auction record was set in 2008. When the buyer from the United Arab Emirates wylicytował 1 million 125 thousand. Kwestura euros per mare, bred in Michaels. The entire auction brought the more than 3 million.

The auction Pride of Poland was the main accent of the Arabian Horse Days ongoing since Friday in Janow Podlaski. The bidding was preceded by a National Show Arabian Horse. The most beautiful horse show has been recognized 4-year-old bay mare, piñata, with Janów Stud, who also won the title of champion older mare.
