Enea Manufacture owned company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange group Enea, uttered concluded in 2010 with the company Bogdanka supply agreement steam coal. The Communication implies that the parties have not reached agreement as to the prices of raw materials for next year.
As a result ,, filed by Enea Production of notice of termination of long-term contract, that contract is to be terminated with effect from 1 January 2018 year. The agreement was terminated by Enea production due to the lack of an agreement between the parties as to the price of coal for 2016 within the stipulated in the contract a long-term period, as well as due to unfavorable from the perspective of Enea production conditions long-term contract, which do not correspond to the current situation in the coal market energy “- reads the release.
Termination should contribute to long-term improvement in the competitiveness of Enea production and thus improve the competitiveness of the issuer and its group, due to the possibility of gaining steam coal for generation asset group at more favorable conditions than it appeared from the canceled agreement.
The agreement was signed in March 2010 between the Kozienice power plant (currently Enea Generation) and LWB. The subject of the long-term contract was the supply of thermal coal during the period from March 4, 2010 to December 31, 2025 year.
Within the ENEA Capital Group are three leading players, ie. Enea (electricity trading), Enea Operator (electricity distribution) and Enea production (electricity generation). In 2014, the company recorded approx. 9.9 billion zł consolidated revenue.
