Maspex buy brand Łowicz – Banker

18th of December Maspex Wadowice Group signed a preliminary agreement with IK Investment Partners on the purchase of selected assets of Agros Nova – d Woche manufacturing plants in Łowiczu and Wasosz and between other brands such as: Łowicz, krakus, Kotlin, Wloclawek, Fruktus, Tarczyn, DrWitt.

 

The condition of entry into force of this agreement is to obtain the consent of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. It will be 17 acquisition Maspex Wadowice Group including 8 on the Polish market and the largest in its history.

 


 

 

As a result of the acquisition uprising Food Group with a turnover of more than 4 billion zł. Strong market position is a guarantee of continued growth and far more opportunities for both companies. On the basis of Agros Nova Maspex plans to build another strong area of ​​operations based on the employees of the company Agros Nova and acquired manufacturing facilities.


 

Maspex Wadowice Group – owner of, among others, Brands Tymbark, Winnie and Lubella – December 18, B. R. signed a preliminary agreement with IK Investment Partners on the purchase of selected assets of Agros Nova. After the closing of the transaction, which will take place after agreement from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, Maspex Wadowice Group will become the owner of two production facilities in Łowiczu and Wasosz and between other brands such as: Łowicz, Krakus, Kotlin, Wloclawek, Fruktus, Tarczyn, DrWitt. The parties did not disclose the value of the transaction.

 

As a result of the acquisition will create the largest food group with a turnover of more than 4 billion zł., A leader in many segments of the food market with very strong, recognizable brands. Increasing the scale of the business can better position and the ability to achieve the synergies and operational cost, which will be beneficial for both companies. Wide range, as well as the presence of many valuable attributes are further terms of the proposed transaction.

The Group Agros Nova is a leading manufacturer of food industry present in several market segments. In most of these leads or occupies a leading place among on the market, jams, sauces, soups and soup concentrates, ketchups. The driving force behind the development of Maspex Wadowice Group are juices, nectars and drinks, which account for 70% of the turnover of the company and pasta products and instant products zobożowe giving 30% of total sales, which in 2014 amounted to over 3.3 billion zł. The acquisition will expand the brand offer Maspex Wadowice Group and exist in the new categories. This will be the largest acquisition in the history of the Maspex Wadowice Group and one of the largest completed to date in Poland.


 

On the basis of Agros Nova, Maspex Wadowice Group is planning to build another, a strong area of ​​operations based on the employees of the company Agros Nova from all locations – Łowicza, Wasosz and Warsaw and staff structures of Commerce. The Company plans to continue and develop production and Wasosz Łowiczu. Also, our head office Agros Nova will work consistently in Warsaw.


 

This is the 17th acquisition Maspex Wadowice Group, including 8 in the Polish market. The largest, which has so far been implemented in Poland is to buy the company Tymbark (1999 year) and the company Lubella (2003). Thanks to high Maspex Wadowice Group outlays on productive investment and cutting-edge technology, distribution and promotion – Tymbark and Lubella become leaders and the most valuable brands in their categories. Only in the area of ​​production, from the entry into Maspex Wadowice Group, productive investment in Lublin and Tymbark amounted to more than 180 million zł.
