The Constitutional Court questions the supervision of the state over part of the credit unions – Politics

For the average citizen the verdict is, to put it mildly, incomprehensible. And for the one who trusts and credit unions invest their savings is in local tills and for this (which is most), who with their money must now submit the giant cover shortfalls in these tills.

Of course, it is not known until full justification of the verdict, it is difficult to judge. Either way, however, the Court must, first, accessibly explain with his decision. Explain even what motivated his position three judges who announced dissenting opinions. And why should the supervisory instruments – and thus the safety of depositors – have a grossly vary depending on the size of banks? But for any mishaps in any case pay all citizens (because it’s from their de facto pocket payments victims are financed from the Bank Guarantee Fund).

The most important, however, on the other hand, it seems to say that according to the Court does not have nothing wrong with the Financial Supervision Commission control over the activities of credit unions. On the contrary – as the Judge pointed out Leon Kieres – it is not only legal, but also necessary. Thus, judges overthrew the main argument DIRECTOR credit unions and their political protectors of the PiS (the funded through credit unions and the media not to mention) that comments critical of the activities of banks are just political ground. Incidentally, still remains unexplained role Andrzej Duda (and subsequently Lech Kaczynski) in shielding the interests of credit unions.

Thirdly, this story proves (not the first) carelessness legislative parliament. Because this is such an important case raises socially Act so as you can see, imprecise that it can be questioned. Spit in his beard should itself especially AFTER: after all, machloje unions and trade unions with the PiS have long been indicated and precisely analyzed in the media (special services are no long-term investigative journalist POLICY Bianka Mikołajewska). And it is difficult to imagine a better advantage in the unmasking of competition: after dark interests of credit unions and PiS hit everyone.

Gazprom’s enormous problems. May withdraw from Europe! – Interia

“Gazprom is engaged in the restructuring of foreign assets. It is expected to sell in the coming years large blocks of shares “, – quotes the document, Gazprom Germania newspaper in which he explains that” this has to do with the change of economic and political conditions. “

The subsidiary of the Russian company, which includes almost all distribution structures Gazprom for abroad, including the US and Asia, does not specify which specific assets to be affected.

Citing a source in one of the foreign structures Gazprom “Vedomosti” explain that carried out the restructuring is a consequence of the EU Third Energy Package European prohibiting gas producers and suppliers to have its transmission infrastructure.

The Journal notes that the summer of 2014 years monopolist has already sold its stake in the Lithuanian Lietuvos Dujos and Amber Grid, and last month Estonian Elering announced that redeems Gazprom securities Vorguteenus Valdus company that owns the gas transmission system operator in Estonia.

The gas market analyst Alexei Grywacz, whose opinion cites “Vedomosti”, predicts that the Russian company would withdraw also from the Latvian Latvijas Gaze.

The newspaper also reminds that at the end of 2014. Gazprom’s board of directors approved the sale of shares in the Finnish monopoly Gasum Oy, which is engaged in gas imports to Finland.

“Vedomosti” note that recently adopted by the European Commission, the EU energy strategy envisages reduction of dependence on Russian gas, particularly the Baltic countries. They emphasize that allowed even the possibility of joint purchase of raw materials by the state.

The Journal reported that the Baltic countries almost 100 percent. They are dependent on Gazprom. “The EU plan provides for a combination of gas transportation systems of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland by the construction of interconnectors, which will ensure the free flow of raw material. The money for this will also provide the EU. Previously, she wants to Gazprom it was not among the owners of the gas transport systems in these countries” – write “Vedomosti”.

According to Grywacza, restructuring of Gazprom’s foreign assets may not confine itself to Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland. May include – according to him – even Germany. In April this year, the local EWE AG announced that redeems the shares of the Russian company Verbundnetz Gas, a company selling gas in the eastern Länder of Germany.

In addition – give the Russian newspaper – autumn 2014 years Gazprom Germania stopped the project to build underground Saltfleetby gas storage facility in the UK, and in February 2015, Gazprom decided to move from London to St. Petersburg office, Gazprom Marketing & amp; Trading (GM & amp; T), its global marketing and distribution company.

In September, our paths will disappear last trains InterRegio – Politics

A few years ago, trains InterRegio arouse strong emotions, and a large group of passengers fiercely defended them. The Government considered that they are a scandal, because podbierają configurations TLK customers, subsidized from the budget, and this actuating Regional Transport company it more and more into debt.

InterRegio defenders responded that trains shall fill a gap in the Polish tracks and in turn attract new passengers. However, recent months are already liquidation next InterRegio and the slow twilight of the brand. Since September disappear all such calls except for a few on the Warsaw-Lodz, subsidized by the Lodz marshal.

The trains InterRegio showed that the railways in Poland has a chance, even in smaller cities, provided that it is cheap. Passengers agreed to on a fairly miserable traveling conditions, but drew their low prices and decent speed. The decision to liquidate InterRegio is as much economic as political.

It is true that close to bankruptcy Regional Transport have a fleet of dilapidated and a bit of a shame it was let off on the tracks wagons that are suitable rather for scrap. But it is also true that today this self-governing company is rescued by the government, which shall transmit more than 700 million zł not in yet, continue to compete with state-owned PKP Intercity.

Already famous action in defense of the InterRegio Jan Matejko linking Warsaw to Cracow, he showed that on these trains is not dependent on either the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development, or the current management of Regional Transports. Unfortunately, after InterRegio remains a gap, which the company PKP Intercity will not fill. If only because it does not get more subsidies from the state budget and not a substitute for all new TLK trains liquidated.

As a result, some passengers choose other means of transport – car or bus. End InterRegio is a great news for all road hauliers. And I do not think this should be the goal of government when we spend a huge EU funds to modernize the track, and our highways are getting more congested.

End InterRegio shows a vanity railway offer in our country. Of course Pendolino trains and shorter journey times on several lines attracted passengers, but the rest of Polish railways is practically cut off. Smaller cities, even if you are on the main lines are often available single long-distance trains during the day. No wonder that, in turn, their inhabitants use very often.

The one who has hope that after the elections awaits us a breakthrough, it may be hard to disappoint. Laboratory Law and Justice is now Podkarpackie Province, where the party governs alone. And that is where this year there was a massive cut local calls. Who likes to turn, this really is not in Poland for whom to vote.

Changes in the program “MdM”. So far, few families helped – Wyborcza.biz

I passed a half years, since he started to apply “MdM”. BGK conference on Thursday reported that at that time, banks granted more than 24.2 thousand. subsidized loans.

Deputy Director of the Department of Housing in the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development Stanislaw Kudroń stressed credit growth. Eg. In the first half of last year was slightly more than 6.3 thousand. beneficiaries “MdM,” and in the first half of this year – more than 9.3 thousand. The average amount of aid amounted to approx. 23.1 thousand. zł.

Kudroń acknowledged, however, that the program not completely fulfilled the expectations placed in it. It was to be one of the five pillars of pro-family policy. The problem is that up to now have reached a surcharge mainly single people and childless marriage. Among borrowers, the bank said subsidy, are the only 843 families with two children and 60 with three or more. The government hopes that such families prefer to buy new homes, where they can count on a greater injection of cash.

You are about to be a new law and new rules

It only awaits the President’s signature amendment to the law on “MdM,” by which marriage and those with two children will receive a subsidy of 20 per cent. price of the apartment, and having a larger number of offspring will be awarded with a 30-percent surcharge. In both cases it is currently 15 percent. Dir. Kudroń pointed out that there is still additional pięcioprocentowa surcharge, but addressed to families in which within five years from the purchase of an apartment will be born third or subsequent child. In the possibilities availed to date 16 families. Zainkasowały an average of approx. 10.7 thousand. zł.

The amendment also releases large families with the criterion of age (so far, at least one of the spouses could not have exceeded 35 years of age), and “the condition of the first apartment”. This means that due to budgetary surcharge will be able to swap their homes with larger ones.

In addition, it will be increased from 50 to 65 sq. M floor space from which the payment is calculated for individuals and families with at least three children. In practice, this means that buying in Warsaw, 85-square meter apartment fulfill criteria for pricing, the family will get from the state approx. 116.8 thousand. zł, an increase of 71.9 thousand. zł more than now.

will be able to buy a used flat

Changes in the law is more. Eg. The subsidy on the loan will be able to reach buyers not only new, but also used flat. He forces them will be lower than for new housing price limit, which can not be exceeded in order to take advantage of government funding. For example, in the capital budget mark-up you may now get a loan to buy a new apartment, whose price does not exceed zł 6588.3 per sq m. Used and would have cost no more than approx. 5390.4 zł.

Although the number of applications for the refund can therefore rapidly increase. Meanwhile, the pool of money for this purpose is limited. Dir. Kudroń did not say it directly, but only suggested that the problem may occur until next year. Load subsidies this year’s budget can not exceed 715 million zł. This pool was depleted by nearly 312 million zł.

Golden words of Jan Kulczyk. What’s richest Poles thought about business, taxes and the meaning of life? – Onet.pl

“The Poles, let us learn to live without complexes” – at the conference “Puls Biznesu” (2015).

Kulczyk recalled how President Lech Walesa was accompanied during his visit to Moscow. He watched as Walesa negotiated with Russian President Boris Yeltsin removal of Russian troops from Polish. He began to fear that at werwie Walesa and verifying that table in the Kremlin is as strong as it looks, return to the country “in wooden jesionkach” as the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party Boleslaw Bierut (Bierut died in Moscow in 1956 in mysterious circumstances ). But when Walesa rose from the table, he said: “agree”. And so it happened.

businessman also mentioned his visit to the White House in Washington, where he was also adviser to US President Barack Obama’s. Security, gen. James L. Jones, and so by Kulczyk “third person after the head of state”. Businesses were able to persuade the American general to be his advisor.

Kulczyk believed that this was due to his appetite to earn the impossible. He argued that the barriers are there to be overcome. He urged for optimism that the Poles missing.

“Punishing people simply for the fact that earlier get up, more to learn, more risk and therefore earn more, it is immoral and short-sighted “- in an interview for” Wprost “(2012).

Kulczyk sharply criticized the fiscal policies directed against the richest. He admitted that his personal taxes paid in Switzerland, because he lived there permanently. His fortune “Forbes” valued at 15.1 billion zł.

Companies Kulczyk pay taxes in Poland but only if they actually work on the Vistula. A very large part of its businesses operate while abroad. Kulczyk Investments, the group which links the main interests of Kulczyk, installed in Luxembourg. Despite this, registered in Warsaw, Polish Kulczyk Holding, including the company’s businesses went to the first place in the rankings of the largest private taxpayers in Poland.

Criticism pay part of the taxes abroad considered a backwater. In last year’s interview with “Forbes” he found it difficult to imagine that the president of Nigeria said that some of the projects implemented at the truth in his country, but will pay taxes in Poland. He assured that he is a patriot and that the Poles accost him on the street, thanking him for the construction of the A2 motorway, we travel to Europe.

“If we drill a hole, the risk is huge. But if we are to them a hundred, just ten where something was found. Then the risk drops to practically zero “- in an interview for” Gazeta Wyborcza “(2013).

Kulczyk called the first Polish sheik and oil tycoon. Oil and gas sought on several continents. Kulczyk Investments holds shares in Neconde Energy procuring “black gold” in the Niger Delta, Serinus Energy oil and gas mining in Ukraine and Tunisia, San Leon Energy looking for oil and gas Poland and Loon Energy Corporation, which is looking for hydrocarbons in Colombia and Peru . Kulczyk recently got rid of the shares in Ophir Energy. The company has mining concessions in Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Kenya, Seychelles, Tanzania, Indonesia, Burma and Thailand.

Kulczyk not only dywersyfikował its oil and gas businesses. Dywersyfikował all their business. He invested in a gold mine in Namibia, Autostrada Wielkopolska, as well as the company producing beer, SABMiller, owner of, among others, Polish Kompania Piwowarska.

“Since my first days in business I knew that I am not fit president in charge of a particular company. I know nothing about it and I can not meet in this role “- in an interview with” Forbes “(2014).

Kulczyk admitted that he often visited the companies he owned. He could not boast of even traveling the entire episode of “his” highway. He said, however, that he could set courses of action, strategy, organize the financing, to verify the legal structure of the transaction and choose the best people. In this he felt strong.

From the beginning focused on building the group. First it was operating mainly in Poland, the group Kulczyk Holding and is already underway in the international arena Kulczyk Investments group.

” [There is no] no sensation “- in an interview with” Forbes “(2014).

Kulczyk refuted allegations that he made in the interests of the state. He believed that participated de facto in only two privatizations.

The first is Breweries Wielkopolski “Lech”, which Kulczyk portfolio went to early 90s businessman believed that he took the risk of restructuring crumbling to rubble company, and then sought a partner with the know-how and capital for further development. He said that the only sensation in this case can be considered is how quickly he was able to transform “a museum of beer in one of the most modern breweries in the world, the leader of the Polish market.”

As regards the second privatization, or the purchase together with France Télécom shares of Polish Telecom at the beginning of the last decade, he took the view that he has paid the Treasury a record much. This was to save the budget before the collapse.

“Investing in the fireplace burning banknotes with a face value of 500 euros is an expensive hobby “- in an interview for” Wprost “(2012).

Businessman believed that Greece should be allowed to go bankrupt. He claimed that the assistance from the value of 240 billion euros and remission of part of the debt it did not work, “did not create any added value.” He took the view that if a bank wants to continue to help Greece should pay for it myself, and not European taxpayers’ money.

“Life is not just business” – in an interview with TVN24.

Kulczyk, who was himself a philanthropist, not once reminded that the most important are the relationships between the people, the principles of fair play and respect for opponents. An important lesson to make up for the Polish business.
