The newspaper cites numerous examples of such devices are still running – washing machines, refrigerators and mixers. Formerly the equipment was technologically much less advanced, but thanks to the quality of materials it can be used for years.

Today’s manufacturers claim that the quality did not change and deny that they deliberately produce equipment with short useful life. The European Commission is, however, evidence to the contrary and trying to fight with the producers.
