The Foreign Minister will honor Pedro Pereira da Silva, chief operating officer Jeronimo Martins Group, the Knight’s Cross. This is the fifth class of the Order of Merit of the Polish Republic.

The Order is awarded to foreign nationals residing abroad and Polish citizens who by their activities have made an outstanding contribution to international cooperation and cooperation linking the Polish Republic with other states and nations.

Distinction This was granted, among others, director Laco Adamikowi (for outstanding achievements in Polish culture), Ernest tennis players Wittmannowi (for his contribution to the sport Polish), Rabbi Walter Rothschild (for promoting Jewish-Christian dialogue) and historian Jurate Kiaupiene (for developing cooperation between the Polish and Lithuania).

Order for “the largest private employer”?

The award will likely be awarded for the creation of the largest commercial network in Poland. According to the company, Jeronimo Martins employs more than 55 thousand. people, making the company the largest private employer in Poland.

Network Ladybug currently has more than 2,500 stores. Jeronimo Martins also owns drugstores and pharmacies Hebe Health.
