The tariff applies to customers served by PGNiG SA. They are wholesale customers, namely those who buy gas for resale, and major end users with an annual consumption of more than 25 million m3. The new tariff will be valid until 31 December 2015.
“Changes in natural gas prices are a consequence of still persistently low oil prices and relatively low natural gas prices in the wholesale markets in north-western Europe, which effectively influences reduce the total cost of obtaining natural gas by PGNiG SA, in comparison to the cost of what was taken to the currently applicable tariff “- said in a press release.
The company also recalled that implements the biggest discount program for customers, as well as for wholesale buyers, which runs until the end of 2016., but not longer than until the waiver tariffing. The discount applies to current prices on the Power Exchange and is dependent on the incoming number and uniformity issues.
PGNiG is present on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2005. The Group is engaged in production of natural gas and crude oil in the country, import natural gas to Polish, storage of gas in underground storage facilities, distribution of gaseous fuels, as well as the deposit development of natural gas and crude oil in the country and abroad, and the provision of services geological, geophysical and exploration in Poland and abroad.
