According to CEO Boguslaw Kisielewski, this project may be marked by already in the results for the fourth quarter and the entire 2015 years promises to be very good.

– In the autumn we want to run the first channel in 4K technology called 4K FUNBOX Ultra HD – said Jacek Settler, director of marketing for Cinema Poland.

– We see very strong interest in this channel in Western Europe, and also in Poland. It is currently available in demo version offered by Vodafone Portugal – he added.

The settler said that the program will contain mostly native 4K content: documentary series, sports programs, live concerts and films. He added that SPI International in advanced talks with operators in the United States, Britain, France and Russia. In addition, the channel also interested operators from Indonesia, Thailand, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey, Canada and Latin American countries.

Boguslaw Kisielewski, the company’s president Cinema, Poland, reported that the introduction of the new channel could be included in the results the earliest for the fourth quarter of 2015.

– This project could have an impact on the results for 2015 years, but I would be careful though such estimates. It depends not so much on us, and on how quickly the operators who will want to have this channel, switch to 4K technology. TV manufacturers are ready – said Kisielewski.

– We would like to make this business has been profitable from the outset – he added.

The President said that the cost of this project will be able to speak until after his the start.

He added that the company is now focusing on distribution, growing in all markets. There are no plans for the introduction of yet another new channels.

The President asked about the expectations consequential said that 2015 years is going to be very good.

– The first quarter was a record, it was the best first quarter in the history of the company and this year promises to be very well – rated Kisielewski.

The consolidated revenues of the company Kino Poland from continuing operations in 2014 amounted to 102.4 million zł. The net profit for the period was 13.56 million zł.
