Currencies: The amount of pension. ZUS will calculate it for you and send the letter – Virtual Poland

More than 20 million Poles will receive in the near future letters from the Social Security, which will find out how much it will be their future pension. And in three different versions, which so far has not happened. “Read before you put the letter” – begins with the letter ZUS.

– We have already started sending letters to policyholders with detailed information regarding their retirement accounts – said in an interview with the HR Wojciech Andrusiewicz, spokesman ZUS and adds that the consignment expect may all who escorted though a single premium, or have worked at least one day, do not receive pensions, are not covered by insurance in the Agricultural Social insurance Fund nor benefit from the uniformed services pension.

the document resembles a bank statement. It will feature all contributions, accompanied by the insured by the employer. – There will be both nominal values, which are those actually discharged, as well as those on indexation – explains Wojciech Andrusiewicz and notes that this is a good time to check your employer or actually made contributions in such amount as it should.

much more interesting for the recipients of letters is, however, a further part of them. ZUS calculated for as a pension received by the insured with public funds. – The estimates relate to three variants – says a spokesman for the Department.

Which variant most important?

The first covers only insurance I pillar and assumes that the employee reaches retirement age and stops at the moment. – The accumulated capital is then divided by the number of months, resulting from the average life expectancy in Poland. In this way we obtain the amount of benefit – explains Wojciech Andrusiewicz.

In the second variant ZUS assumes that the insured is working until retirement age. To estimate the amount of benefit, the Department calculated on the basis of existing data the average monthly premium and adds it to the seniority that remained of the insured retirement age.

For example, a 40-year-old retirement is still 27 years. On the basis of the history of the Insurance Department has estimated that capital accumulates at the time of retirement and thus calculated the average monthly benefit. Its height is still, however, cover only the first pillar, which is only part of our pension contributions.

The most complete is the third variant, which for the first pillar will add the funds accumulated on the individual sub-account in ZUS, ie in the second pillar. According to the spokesman of the Department, it will be the first of this type of calculation, not used so far.

And just this last option will give the answer to the question, how much will be my pension. But also incomplete because it must be remembered that some insured chose the second pillar in the OPF, and data from the fund ZUS has no access.

The amount received in the third variant, so you’ll need to add the money accumulated in the open pension funds and voluntary insurance in the third pillar – individual retirement accounts (IRA) individual accounts pension security (IKZE) and employee pension plans (PPE).

it was not until this sum will give us the actual amount of future pension.

is manual

provides Wojciech Andrusiewicz, recipients in addition to the calculation and account history will also explain how to read the data contained in them. – It will be maximally simplified and precise, so that everyone knows how to understand the amount calculated for the different variants – says a spokesman for the Social Insurance Institution.

Do with the document you need to do something later? Perhaps something to fill in, sign and send to the Social Insurance? Representative institutions ensure that the letter is purely informative and does not require the recipient any further action.
