Magdalena Gaj replaced the president of Anna Streżyńska, which was positively received by the telecommunications companies. He resigned from his post six months before the end of the parliamentary term during which took place the largest auction in the history of Polish communications. Auction LTE also provoked controversy because operators for months fought for reservations for new frequencies. I complained faulty preparation of the auction and its course, which – as argued – has led to high prices of the 800 MHz band representing them serious financial burden. There was even a threat that is unresolved due to errors of a formal nature.

The protests raised among entrepreneurs intervention previous minister of administration and digitization Andrzej Halicki, who by amending the Regulation under which the auction is held, reduced the time the auction. This was to avoid becoming too dragging the auction. According to some operators, this constituted unlawful change the rules during the auction, because the novel de facto turned her into a tender.
