Employers in June reported to labor offices 117,000 job opportunities . This record – underlines Labour Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak- Kamysz. He adds that such a good result in June was not since 2001. The situation improved in all provinces.
The Minister Kosiniak- Kamysz pointed out that last month was by almost 80,000 unemployed less than in May. – This shows that the recovery in the labor market is permanent and you should expect a single-digit unemployment. The 6 provinces such digit unemployment rate is already a fact – the minister said. Pomorskie just joined Wielkopolska, of Mazowsze, Silesia and Lower Silesia.
According to Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz , steady improvement in the employment situation is a great success of Polish entrepreneurs, who create more and better jobs.
The drop in unemployment must be accompanied by salary increase and a greater stabilization of employment. Permanently raising the minimum wage and changes in futures contracts should encourage Poles to return from a foreign to our labor market, which already is being observed – the minister said.
In June, registered at labor offices was 1 624 000 people.
