In terms of attractiveness for investors Poland is still the leader in Central and Eastern Europe, and across the continent is in 5th position – according to the latest edition of the report entitled. “The attractiveness of investment in Europe”, prepared periodically by the consulting firm EY. The factors that are most important when assessing the attractiveness of, among others, are currently flexibility of working time and tax system.

In 2015. foreign direct investment (FDI) reached a record high level of Europe. In total, these projects created 5083 and they generated up to 217.6 thousand. new jobs. At that time in Poland, the number of projects reached 211, and thanks to them were employed 19.6 thousand. people. As a result, Poland in this respect is still the leader of the region – in the entire continent is now in 5th place.
