On Sunday, the Polish president arrives in China Xi Jinping, and the beginning of the week will be marked by Polish-Chinese economic and international events with the participation of Chinese partners. On Monday Morawiecki will take part in the Forum of the Silk Road in 2016.
– Poland wants to actively participate in the project of the New Silk Road. It creates promising prospects for Polish entrepreneurs, who see their chance to develop business in the Chinese market. This project is also a chance for the implementation of joint investment projects and infrastructure in the countries through which the trail will run – Morawiecki said.
Attract the Polish capital of China
He expressed the hope that this initiative “will also encourage Chinese investors to engage more capital in our country.”
– Poland, as a member and founder of the Asian infrastructure Investment Bank, wants to effectively use this mechanism to ensure that Polish companies can invest in the Chinese market – said Deputy Prime Minister.
Memorandum of Understanding

Referring to the visit itself Morawiecki stressed that it confirms the very good relations between Poland and China.
– Strategic Partnership from the Middle Kingdom from 2011 sets a new quality of bilateral cooperation. Today we are facing new challenges in the global economy, so it’s a good time to give our relations a new dimension. One that will allow us to jointly implement ambitious projects related to investments, infrastructure or development of new technologies – said Deputy Prime Minister.
– We want Poland to play a key role in economic relations in our part of Europe with China. I hope that this year will be crucial in this regard and define new areas of cooperation for the next decade – he added.
He noted that the two sides will talk about the possibility of deepening economic cooperation. – We also want to define new areas that will allow for greater involvement of Chinese capital in Poland. As part of the plan for the responsible development work out specific solutions that enhance the investment attractiveness of Polish – said Morawiecki.
He announced economic agreement. – Will be signed the agreement between representatives of both government and business. They scratch the plans for further development of Polish-Chinese cooperation and indicate their direction – he stressed.
