“I have prepared two concepts, according to the resolution of the government. In the next two weeks, I will be presented at a government meeting. The final decision belongs to the Development Committee and the Council of Ministers. Both concepts, or agency or holding, have their pros and cons. I hope that we decide at a government meeting, which path I follow on, “- said Jackiewicz in a radio Jedynka.

In late July, the government adopted a resolution on liquidation of the Ministry of Treasury. According to it, the SME will work until the end of this year, and since January 2017. its responsibilities take over the new entity.

Jackiewicz asked that the concept is closer to him, said that a joint stock company, which will be managed as holding. “Which is more efficient, faster in the decisions taken. To this more inclined, though of course I know that a government agency or department in the Prime Minister’s Office, who will manage the assets of the Treasury – has its raison d’etre, and I am very sensitive to the all the signals that flow down to me in this matter, “- said the head of the SMEs.

the government authorized the Minister Treasury to carry on their work on the reform of the management of state property. The Council of Ministers in July at the same time adopted a schedule of work on the reform of the management of the property.

The new entity, according to the previously announced Minister of the Treasury, they have to find the most important state-owned companies. Among them Jackiewicz named, among others, KGHM, Grupa Azoty, PLL LOT, PZU. He said, will also be there can group related to the energy sector, which – as pointed out – will depend on the cooperation with the minister of energy. The main purpose of this entity is to be care for the increase in the value of Treasury companies.
