Aquis Exchange will need to raise capital to mid-2015 – Banker

Aquis Exchange, British MTF trading platform, which is 30 percent of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. shares, to mid-2015 needs to raise capital to meet regulatory requirements. WSE will consider whether to take part in the issue – said Tuesday at a press conference WSE CEO Paul Tamborski.

Aquis Exchange Limited is a British company which runs a pan-European market for trading in a multilateral trading facility (Multilateral Trading Facility, MTF).

Aquis Company commenced operations on November 26, 2013. Net loss for the period from 18 February to 31 December 2014 amounted to 22.2 million zł. Aquis business model is based on collecting subscription fees generated turnover, and not on the value of the transaction fees, as on other platforms on the market.

Aquis Exchange enables trading in shares of 407 companies from 12 European countries. Among them, however, has continued to Polish companies. (PAP)
