The German Bundestag voted to extend the aid to Greece – Polish Radio

It seems that the Bundestag would agree to further aid for Greece by an overwhelming majority.

Many politicians of the ruling Christian Democrats, especially those of the Bavarian CSU, will not vote with clenched teeth. The growing ranks of the party because dissatisfaction with the new government of Greece, and in particular the way in which Athens negotiate with the rest of Europe.

Greece demands donated part of the debt

Many German politicians, including Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble, very negatively reacted to the last statement of the Greek Minister of Finance, who shortly after reaching an agreement with the Eurogroup, again began to demand donated to the Greek part of the debt. Besides, do not miss the view that borrowing more money Athens will not do anything, and the best solution would be to exclude Greece from the euro zone.

Greece committed itself to reforms

Greece is committed to effective fight against tax evasion and corruption, to guarantee the independence of the statistical office, with what had previously been problems. Athens also want to make changes to the program of privatization and plans to raise the minimum wage, but not yet informed about the details.

The actions of the government in Athens will be reviewed again at the end of April. Only after a positive assessment of Greece will receive this year’s 7 billion euros of loans. And in June, the euro area awaits further discussion about a possible aid package.
