The findings of Ukraine with the International Monetary Fund predict a rise in electricity prices from March to individual customers by 40 percent – said the Ukrainian Energy Minister Volodymyr Demczyszyn.

The Minister of Energy and Coal Industry also said that within two years will gradually increase the price of gas and central heating. Stipulated that the first increase will take place at the end of the heating season in April.

People will get an invoice, evaluate new tariffs and summer warm up the wall, exchange boilers, to prepare for the coming winter. Since April, we introduce a system of subsidies. According to our estimates it will receive two-thirds of the population – said the Minister Demczyszyn Ukrainian weekly Focus.

He added that for these purposes in the amendments to the budget provided 12.5 billion hryvnia (as it is about 1.6 billion).

The Agency Interfax-Ukraine writes that the president of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriy Hontariewa said earlier this week that the Ukrainian authorities agreed IMF first stage of the price increases of other media. Gas journey by 280 percent and 66 percent heat. The head of the central bank also pointed out that due to the rise in inflation in 2015 should reach 25-26 percent.
