Greece asks for a loan, but puts conditions – GazetaPrawna.pl

Tomorrow at 15.00 meet euro zone finance ministers, who again try to agree on a compromise regarding support for Greece.

The government in Athens in the written request asked for an extension of six months for international financial assistance. He refused, however, to further, substantial savings which were previously provided financial support. But pledged to keep a tight rein on the budget and announced readiness to make concessions.

The European Commission called the Greek proposal a positive signal. “Chairman Juncker believes that this proposal could pave the way to a reasonable compromise in the interest of stability of the euro area as a whole,” – said a spokesman for the European Commission Margaritis Schinas.

The Commission implies that a compromise is possible, while Germany reject the ideas of Greece. Berlin from the beginning was the opposite changes in the existing bailout. Greece on concessionary treatment also disagree Southern countries, mainly Spain.
If you do not consent to grant another loan, the next month, Greece will not receive the money, which could lead it to bankruptcy. Athens is the financial “drip” from 2010.
