Polish foreign debt up. NBP announced new data – Money.pl

Polish total foreign debt at the end of 2,015 years reached a value of 300.67 billion. According to the Polish National Bank, at the end of 2014 years the debt amounted to 291.88 billion euros.

The foreign debt of the government sector was also higher in the fourth quarter of last year and amounted to 124.87 billion. In the same period the previous year it amounted to 119.15 billion euros. In turn, the debt under the ‘direct investment – debt instruments “had the value at the end of 2,015 years 72.53 billion euros against 70.74 billion a year earlier.

On Thursday NBP also gave data on the current account balance our country. In the fourth quarter of 2015 years we recorded a deficit of 427 million euros compared to 2 348 million euro negative balance in the previous quarter and compared to 1 212 million euro deficit in the fourth quarter of the previous year.

Join the current account deficit resulted mainly the deterioration of the negative balance of primary income of 5.3 billion zł. They take into account the inflow of EU funds for the common agricultural policy and the outflow of funds related to the membership fee to the European Commission.

Worse 2.6 billion was also the balance of secondary income. They correspond to the current transfers net of primary income. Secondary income therefore include, among others, remittances, cash taxes, cash flows related to the social security system and the flows related to insurance services.

During the quarter improved to a positive trade balance of 10 billion zł and services of 1.2 billion zł, pointed bank central.
