Crushing audit in KW: announcement of changes and cost-cutting

But it lacked the determination and will to thoroughly analyze it. To all documents, and there were hundreds of them, examine, verify and analyze. From this arose after the final conclusions of the report.

– We note that there are some areas that need additional audit. I mean the economy of the bed, or details on the operation of third party orders and executed for mines.

– Minister of Energy Krzysztof Tchórzewski turned to us asking is that if we believe that we can still work in selected areas, it will need additional follow-up audit. It will be devoted to selected problems, which have just said.

You will be led the team conducting the follow-up audit? When will the work?

– I led the team conducting the audit. Even before Christmas to organize a working meeting and discuss and agree what action and what date we will pursue.

– The second stage should take about a month. I spoke with representatives of the supervisory board KW. They see the need to examine issues related to the operation of subsidiaries. It is also about outsourcing services to external companies for the actual needs of the mines and the whole company.

In your opinion, certain irregularities taking place in the Coal Company should take the prosecutor’s office?

– the next meeting I want to take, inter alia, the analysis of what we have examined and checked. In addition, I intend to ask team members to think about which areas require in-depth examination by the competent services, namely, for example, by the prosecution.

The team that will carry out the follow-up audit in KW, will be extended, or will work in the same team?

– Rather in the same composition. If it is the will of the Minister of Energy to expand the team – we are open. Minister fact indicated that the team may be supplemented by experts in the field of economics or law.

Representatives of the mining trade unions point out that the conclusions of the audit in KW confirm their opinion that they should not go to the mining portfolio only address issues of system and reducing the outflow of money from the company. What do you think?

– It is quite right. In contrast, today, when we create a Polish group Mining, we can not afford to since the beginning of operation of the group generated a deficit.

In the opinion of many workers raises concern about the future of the company, which is their breadwinner.

And in this perspective, I see the possibility of a more flexible area-related salaries. And if the unions agree to do it? I believe that only through honest dialogue can be achieved. Only honest dialogue and lining of all issues on the table will allow you to reach a consensus.

– I do not know if this is possible. I think that probably not. In this first step, the so-called. basket size of the remuneration should be paralyzed.

I point out that certain measures are needed to fulfill prior commitments and determine how much can be spent on it, to raise wages.

Do you believe in the success of the project called the Polish Group Mining?

– Of course. I think that this is the chance to introduce new systems. Above all, management. This may include production planning, from designing your rozcinki by scheduling the course of the walls, the design and planning of the walls higher performance.
